Tenant app — questions

Is the My PG Manager Tenant app free?
Yes. The tenant app is completely free for tenants. Only PG owners pay for My PG Manager.
Why is there a separate app for tenants?
PG owners and tenants need very different things. The main My PG Manager app is built for owners — properties, rooms, rent collection and reports. Tenants now have their own lighter app, My PG Manager Tenant, that only shows what matters to them: rent, receipts, complaints and notices.
I was using the main My PG Manager app as a tenant. What should I do?
Install My PG Manager Tenant from Google Play and sign in with the same mobile number. Your PG, rent and payment history are already there. You can uninstall the owner app afterwards.
How do I log in to the tenant app?
Enter the mobile number your PG owner added for you. You get a one-time code on WhatsApp or SMS — no password needed. If your number is not found, ask your PG owner to add you, or scan their PG's QR code to send a join request.
Is the tenant app available on iPhone?
The tenant app is on Android (Google Play) today. An iPhone version is coming soon. Until then, iPhone users still get rent reminders and receipts on WhatsApp.
Do I need the app to get rent reminders?
No. Rent reminders and payment receipts are sent on WhatsApp whether or not you install the app. The app adds your full history, complaints, notices and online payments.
